President: Axel Bergman

Axel has been a full time resident of PST since 2014. He represented the condominiums on the PST Master HOA board for two years and served as its Treasurer for one and a half years as well as a member of the Building and Grounds and Disaster Planning committees.  He is originally from Portland, Oregon where he served on the Boards of non-profit organizations and the Board of a HOA.  He is a retired CPA.  He enjoys traveling, swimming, snorkeling, walking, the gym and eating out.  He was recently certified as an open water scuba diver and is currently taking Kayak, paddle board, and boogie board lessons in the Gulf.

Secretary/Treasurer: Walt Kovalick

Walt and his wife Sue live in the suburbs of Chicago and are part year residents.  They have resided here since 2014 following his retirement as Sr Mgr. from US EPA.  He worked in technical environmental programs dealing with air pollution, toxic substances, hazardous waste and clean up of contaminated sites as well as management support functions at EPA.  Their kids and two grandkids live in Stuttgart, Germany.  He has served on the landscape committee since 2017.  He serves on the board of their current church, and one in Northern VA in the past, and on the board of another non-profit.  Walt and Sue are also out regularly walking with their dog Violet.  Walt's goal is to help the board maintain a quality, well maintained community that enhances every owners investment, while being mindful of the the impact on fees.  

Vice President: Scott Carpenter

Scott is currently employed as a Property Manager with Benderson Development.  Prior to that he was Director of Facilities and Construction at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare and a Director of Facilities in Upper Iowa University.  He is a full time resident of Palma Sola Trace and looks forward to improving the current conditions for our grounds and landscaping at the condos. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing.
