TRASH AND RECYCLING CENTER
Our rules are the same as the City of Bradenton. You may notice that one truck picks up all the recycling. This is a dual compactor. Half holds paper and small flat cardboard. The other co-mingled recyclables.
PLEASE BE AWARE THE CITY WILL NOT PICK UP ANYTHING FROM THE RECYCLE ROOM THAT IS NOT IN THE BLUE BINS. BE COURTEOUS TO NEIGHBORS AND DO NOT LEAVE LOOSE ITEMS IN THE RECYCLE ROOM OR ON TOP OF THE BINS.
WE can recycle #1 to #5 and #7. NOT #6 which is PS or polystyrene. This includes styrofoam type egg cartons, packing peanuts, fast food boxes that are not cardboard.
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR RECYCLING ON THE LARGE GREEN SIGN OUTSIDE THE COMPACTOR FOR SPECIFICS.
Our recycle center is organized so that plastic/glass/cans will be commingled on the left wall, and paper and small flat cardboard can go on the right side.

Trash Compactor is for the use of Condominium Unit Owners ONLY!
Items that CAN be dumped into the compactor include personal household trash that includes but is not limited to papers, tissues, small food cans, frozen food packages, wrappers, small cartons.
Items that CANNOT and SHOULD NOT be dumped are large pieces of furniture, appliances, bikes, grills, carpet, paint cans, petroleum products, large cartons, tires.
DO NOT LEAVE TRASH ON THE GROUND BY THE TRASH COMPACTOR:
LARGE ITEMS such as furniture WILL BE PICKED UP BY THE CITY AT A SMALL COST TO YOU. PLEASE CALL 941-708-6340 TO SCHEDULE A PICK UP and place the item on your driveway.
Whenever a resident or trespasser leaves large items at the compactor, there is a cost to the association to have the item removed. Violators, once identified, will be deemed to be in violation of these rules regarding proper use of the compactor and can be subject to the fining process provided for in the Declaration.
Of Note: Condo homeowners should not be charged monthly for trash in their water/sewer bills.
